Made a loved one go through the entire onboarding process and collected Protected Healthcare Information aginst HIPPA laws, only to tell them they're not accepting new patients shortly after. Their insurance has accepted and was paying full rates. I suspect racial profiling as the reason.
A Place to Turn is an incredible outpatient therapy practice that I love collaborating with! I've been in the behavioral health field for a while now and I can always trust their team to take care of the clients I refer. They are so fast to reach out to clients in need, get them scheduled, and set them up with one of their therapists. Not to mention they are so good with communication, sharing updates, and sharing additional resources when necessary.
