On Monday Jan19 at 10 am I droped off a short small book of 100 pages some pages in color to be quoted a price per book and what it would cost if I got additional copies.. Guy was nice and they seemed like they could handle printing and cover and binding.. He never called back as promised , So I called him late Monday and still no answer. I decided to use APTC for my wedding invitations and RSVP cards. From day one they have been amazing. Excellent and prompt communication!! The only issue I had was the ink came out almost black vs the dark purple color I had wanted. I went up there 10 minutes till closing on a Friday afternoon to show them the invites. Chris fixed them immediately. I had expected it would be a couple of days but nope. They re-ran them and cut them for me right then and there. Excellent customer service for sure!!
We organize the Raleigh Walk in support of preventing cruelty to animals in downtown Raleigh. We asked 'A Place to Copy' to sponsor us. All they had to do was to make 25 copies; we asked for no money. The person at the desk (who was nice) said the owner would get back to us, and took down our contact info. The owner never did. Days later, we drove again to the store. The owner couldn't be bothered. He showed his true colors. Nice place, great prices – Used them about a dozen times, great service and prices. I'm thinking that the negative reviews must be from a competitor, because I don't know what they heck they are talking about.
Supporting the Place to Copy – As any business they may have bad days, but they always there when I need them. Their prices and quality are the best in the area. The place the complainer according to - compare the prices!
I don't understand the negative comments .... – I don't understand the negative comments on this business. I have found A Place to Copy always eager to please, flexible and hard working. I have never had a problem with their work in terms of quality or timing. James and his staff have always been very pleasant. In the rare case of equipment failures they have worked the extra hours to make sure I had what I needed when I needed it. I would highly recommend this business!!!
Only if I Were Forced at Gunpoint – This place is hands-down the worst copy place I've ever been to. I've used them for personal and business situations because I believe in giving every company more than one chance (there are always bad days) but never again will I go to A Place To Copy. The people are extremely rude. Extremely rude! – The last posting seems pretty accurate. You DO NOT tell your customers that you will have something prepared for them when you are going to be a week late with it!! When I called the owner, James, and tried to speak to him in a civil manner about the ongoing situation, he immediately told me that there had been NO problems.
