I am highly recommending Ultra Thin Paint Protection Blades, which I use frequently when removing windshields. A lot of new vehicles are not attaching moldings to their glass when it is installed at the factory. The close proximately to the body make it almost impossible to take out without scratching this area. Of course, black primer would come in handy if it does get scratched.
