Best mechanic in Jersey City. Also a fraction of the cost of other places
I had a great experience with this shop, and will definitely be coming back here for future work. I had some transmission issues that another shop in Jersey City claimed could only be fixed by replacing the entire transmission. The guys at A&M really took the time to diagnose the issue, repaired and sourced only the parts that needed to be replaced, and tested it before letting me know the repair was complete. $72 for an oil change on my Acura RDX - was super simple and fast. I got a call to pick up my car when it was all done (took about 1.5 hours but I also dropped it off while they had other cars in front of me). Will definitely be coming back!
Two other shops told me i needed a new clutch ($1500 job). This place fixed the clutch pedal in 30 minutes with a single wrench, made time for me at the end of the day too, totally saved my car Go here if your looking for honesty and professionalism, and they are nice guys too.
10/10 would bring my car back here again. I had a leak inside my car and they diagnosed it quickly once they got it up into the lift. They got it back to me well within when I needed it back, and gave me a better price than I expected. Best experience I have had with a mechanic, and a pleasant surprise all around.
