Ran across Backyard on Yelp. Excellent choice to end our date day. Relaxing atmosphere, excellent & friendly service & amazing food. Shrimp & Grits for my wife & meatloaf for me. Definitely a hidden gem on Hilton Head.

Did not know about this restaurant until my grandson and his wife told us about how good the food was. So we found it, tried it and loved it. Excellent food and service great. Shrimp and grits best I ever had. Ate it both nights we were there. My husband got their potatoe chip meat loaf both nights.

The tofu sandwich was so good, we ate the twice on a three night stay in Hilton head. It is spicy and creamy. Omg!
