Horrible I ordered my dress for senior prom from A L'Amour on January 22, 2010. My prom was May 7, 2010. They said the dress would be ordered and they would call when it got in. The expected date to receive my dress was towards the end of February. This would leave plenty of time for alterations. I paid in advance. By the beginning of April I still had not gotten a call. Great service I had a wonderful experience at A L'Amour. They had a wide variety of dresses. I went to try on a particular dress, but the lady was very helpful and brought several others that I ended up liking better. I was not rushed at all and they were very friendly.
Great Selection, Great Customer Service My consultant was Flo and from the moment that I walked out of the boutique until this day, she has been nothing but very professional, pleasant, and helpful! She assited me every minute I was there! Given so many different wedding gowns, it can be overwhelming to choose what you like. Wonderful Gown Shopping Experience The bridal consultant I worked with was Carmel. She was wonderful. She was very honest throughout the entire buying process. Every time I called to asked questions she either got to the phone immediately or called back very quickly. This salon has everything. They have gorgeous designer gowns, jewelry, shoes, veils, bridesmaid gowns, mother-of-the bride gowns. You will not have to shop anywhere else. Terrible customer service I bought a special occasion dress at A 'LAmour. It was on the sale rack and was on major sale. I had it altered with their seamstress and when I got it back it smelled very smoky. I assumed the smell was in the fitting room but realized when I got home that it was the dress. They said there is nothing they can do since it was a sample dress and I had already left the store. I think that is terrible customer service.
A L'Amour Bridal Shop is nothing short of AMAZING!!! I am very surprised to read all of these negative reviews on here because I have had the BEST experience at this store. I first came here because it was suggested to me by many of my married friends, newly engaged and other friends who had been in weddings and bought a bridesmaid dress here. Great Experience I made an appointment to try on dresses with my mom one afternoon and I ended up finding my dress! I had been to two other shops, and had tried on about 10 dresses, but still didn't feel like I found my dress. During my appointment I worked with Emmylou and she made me feel 100% at ease, even after I told her I was alittle stressed out.
