Best highlights hands down – I recently went for a second time back to Alina to get my highlights done. It has been about a month and they look brand new! They are fantastic because unlike many other stylists, she puts the highlights as close to the roots as possible so you aren't having to get a touch up every month. Nice salon and friendly stylist – I just tried Al a Mode for the first time...Alina did a fantastic job with my hair. I have the frizziest, most damaged hair ever and I never really know how to deal with it. You can tell right away that she knows what she's doing, has an aesthetic eye, and she's honest with you about what is best for your hair. Best Hair Salon in San Fernando Valley Area – Great Salon, good haircuts for females and males. The Salon is very flexible in fitting me in the same day or next day. Very personable and great place to receive other services such as waxing, dying of hair etc. Highly recommend!! Much better than Supercuts/Fantastic Sams!!
Wonderful Experience! – I went to the salon based on all of the positive feedback on Citysearch. I have long, straight Asian hair and have been in search of a new stylist who can give a well-defined haircut without a lot of daily upkeep (i.e., I'm busy and do not have a lot of time to spend blowdrying my hair). Alina ROCKS! – Alina is the best stylist I've ever had! I have straight asian black hair and she always manages to make it fun and flirty! She is GREAT at cutting bangs....keeping your length (if you want it!)....and so fun to work with! I love getting my hair cut from her because she has a conversation about what YOU want and she will be honest about whether or not it will look fabulous on you! Not to mention, her salon is so cute, clean, and comfy! Go get your hair cut by Alina, I guarantee, you'll never go anywhere else!
I found ALina off of the reviews here on city search. I was somewhat skeptical but figured 38 glowing reviews couldn't be wrong....they weren't. she was INCREDIBLE. My dry damaged ethnic and chemically processed hair and shiny, smooth and incredibly healthy looking. I have great new bangs that look good combed to the front and the side. And my blowout has lasted 4 days and still looks as good as it did when it was done. AND i was so late and she didn't even care and it was so comfortable and hospitable!!! she was great!!!
AWESOME PLACE TO GET A HAIRCUT!!! – I got my haircut Twice here already because Alina really knows how to treat and take care of her customers. She's really nice and knows how to cut and style your hair perfectly. The price is very resonable, it's a great value. The BEST cut I have received in Los Angeles... – I have been to many different salons all over Los Angeles, many of them very high end, and this is the first time I have left the salon feeling happy about my haircut. Alina is a talented stylist and has an eye for what suits the customer. She listened and made suggestions based on my type of hair and the look I was striving for. She succeeded! I am definitely returning and will try color and/or extensions with Alina next.
