Since moving to the west coast I never dreamed it would be difficult finding a stylest that has mastered the art of Blondes. That is until my boss reccomended Alamode Hair salon in California. My friend and I decided to take the long trip (4 hrs) and turned out it was well worth it. I had a horrible experience at this salon. It was actually my first time dying my hair and i wanted to get it done professionally so that there wouldn't be any mistakes a few days before a major event i had coming up. Alina did my hair and did NOT understand what i wanted, instead she did what she thought was suitable which was about 5 stands of highlights which did not make a difference in my long hair and charged me $98. my new favorite salon – I live in Glendale, but had been trekking over to trendy Silverlake to get my hair done. I just couldn't find the time to get over there, so I finally went to Alina. What was I waiting for?! The salon is sooo close to my house, has plenty of parking and is in a beautiful upstairs loft with views of the mountains.
