We have hired A Kitchen That Works twice previously for kitchen design consultation. Knowing the quality of work to expect, we did not hesitate to hire A Kitchen That Works to design and install a china cabinet and a custom entertainment center/bookshelf system. A kitchen that works completely replaced and redesigned our outdated kitchen. They also met other needs and were able to repair and provide an excellent product in our home. The project was on time and on budget. They are sticklers for detail and perfection. We will hire them again when we have a need for other renovations.
While we didn't go through the bid and design process for purely logistical reason, I'm in Mukilteo and the firm is on Bainbridge, Molly played a substantive roll in the quality and search for my final kitchen design and contractor choice. Kitchen and Bath remodel in a 1960's beach cottage. Molly acted as the designer and contractor. She designed the kitchen and bath basically using the same blueprint, but made the spaces more efficient, provided more storage, and used materials that were easier to clean. She helped with the selection of materials including appliances, cabinets, lighting, hardware, etc. Molly was a stickler for detail, quality of products, communication, and professionalism. Molly came to our home to advise us on our master bath remodel. She gave some great suggestions of ideas that had not occurred to us. She also made excellent recommendations of contractors to do the plumbing, tile, countertop, and shower surround. We are delighted with the results.
From the very simplest lighting design (Molly turned a clear shade of a light fixture down instead of up and the lighting was dramatically better for that one tiny movement) to larger projects (just short of a complete kitchen remodel), Molly has helped us save time and money (my husband's goal in life).
