To Whom It May Concern, I want to give a huge shout-out and my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Todd Atkinson, MD, and the fantastic physical therapy team at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Atkinson did an incredible job on my right shoulder surgery. I have been a patient here for about two years. After calling twice and visiting once I could not get any one to call back or answer my question about insurance coverage for a procedure. Ridiculous.

Dr Atkinson is the best Orthopedic Dr in Southwest Florida. In January 2024 Dr Atkinson had to replace a bone in my thumb due to advanced arthritis. Now there is no more pain, I can hold a pen, a hammer, open buttons, use zippers all without pain. Then May of 2024, he did a reverse shoulder replacement of my right side. 4 months later I can lift my arm straight up, and out to the side, with no pain. Still working on putting dishes away in the cabinets, but I am thrilled. Than you Dr Atkinson.

My experience with Dr Atkinson and his staff was wonderful. I appreciated the rehab was at his office and they were always upbeat, positive attitudes and very kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Atkinson if you have joint issues!
