I started with A. Johnston Therapy in February 2025 because I was dealing with anxiety, depression, and a lot of trauma. As a single parent, I wanted help for myself and my son. My first sessions were with Alisa Bowman. I was nervous going in because past therapy had felt cold or judgmental, and I wasn’t sure I would click with her. Alana has been an amazing help. I knew her from before she did this line of work so she knew alot of what I went through so it is very easy and makes me feel more comfortable talking to her. She knows her stuff! I recommend her highly for anyone who has trauma, codependency and alot more.

Immediately I felt a positive connection with Alana. She’s very trustworthy and authentic. Alana believed in me and developed a plan to help me progress towards my goals.
