Dr. Ed and his staff are the absolute best!!! There is nothing else to be said....if you are looking for a vet you can trust with your precious animal companions, he's your man.

We were in Ocala and in March 2014 our cairn of almost 14 yrs. got very ill and had already had health issues that medicine was not able to fix. We had to have her put down and Dr. Ed and staff were very compassionate, caring and did not rush through this hard time with us. I would recommend him if you are looking for a vet in the area.
My 11 yr old Border Collie, had dislocated his hip playing fetch. after going to Banfield, and they attempting a closed reduction ( pop it back in ) we wound up taking him to Dr.Ed. had we known that the closed procedure by Banfield had at best a 20% success rate and knew of Dr.Ed before hand Diesel would have gone to him first. Diesel needed a F.H.O procedure done, and his staff worked him in as quick as they could. now 2 days after the procedure Diesel is doing even better than Banfield had done. he will walk slowly on it,... read more
