The most lovely midwifery! Bringing new life into this world is such a blessing, but it’s also frightening to a new mom (at least for me). What a relaxing and wonderful experience. They actually listen to you! They had answers for all our questions and more. It felt like the midwives knowledge went much deeper than our worries. Spinning babies was a game changer for my wife as the bump got bigger. It helped her walk and carry the baby comfortably. I had a wonderful experience working with Tamara and all the midwifes at the birth center. They all went above and beyond to give me the care I needed and prepare me for my first birth.
When our original plans to give birth at another birthing center unexpectedly fell through, I was devastated, but little did I know it would be the best thing that could have happened. I loved my experience with A Family Affair Birth Center, it went as well as I could've imagined. Tamara was very informative on what we could do if I wanted to help labor on but was by no means pushing anything on me. My husband and I were in control, and Tamara and Dee were helping us along the way, just like I wanted.
