Our son has been suspected of having apraxia of speech since he was 18 months old, when he first entered the Utah early intervention program. I am so thankful for the year we worked with Andrea prior to kindergarten. Completing speech therapy in her home was the calm/non-clinical environment my daughter needed to thrive. It felt like fun to her. And Andrea provided the expertise, rigor and insight to make the fun translate into learning. Sessions are extremely well priced for the guidance both my daughter received in therapy and tips Andrea gave me to continue the work at home. Recommend for anyone looking for speech therapy for their child!
I’ve been getting speech therapy from Andrea for about a month, and I can feel myself conversing easier now. My diagnosis means I have to work for many years to get my speech back, but Andrea is patient and always pushing me, but not too far. I have apraxia of speech and aphasia from a stroke. While strokes are not Andrea’s main focus, she helps me out tremendously. She does online speech therapy for me, and also gives me homework each week. Andrea is wonderful! My son has been working with her for a couple of years now and has made so much progress. When he started he had very few words. Now he communicates in full sentences. It's amazing how much progress he has made. I sought her out because of her experience and education in Apraxia. She is engaging with my son and he looks forward to going and playing with her. I would recommend her to anyone.
