Took in my Mom’s Estate Jewelry. Total value over $20K. Including a 2.98 Carat Round Cut Brilliant excellent color and clarity Diamond. After a year she refused to produce the sales receipts or the Jewelry. Still owes me at least $4K never paid my brother a penny.

Love this store. Purchased gorgeous ring at AB Gem Lab. Love it! On layaway also. Wonderful expert gemologist. Personal service. Never going to a big box again.

Rip off don't bother. I had some jewelry from my mother's estate to have appraised. Quote $120.00 per hour and she fiddled around for 45 minutes, no specific direct quotes (guesstimates) charged me $90.00 and expected me to write down the vague estimated quotes. Consignment quote 70% to the estate, 30% to Gem Lab. I suggest Smith & Bevill. I had an amazing experience ring shopping for my wife and myself here. It's not big-box so I was able to find unique rings for my wife and me! 7 years later I still love my one of a kind ring I got there and he antique ring I got for my wife from the 50's for a steal!!!! Here's a pic of my ring after almost 7 years of daily wear.

Don't use for consignment. Does not keep good records and try's to go off memory. My wife brought in a couple pieces of jewelry for consignment and she told my wife that she sold the jewelry for half of what my wife wanted. I would leave a 0 star if there was one..
