Tried to hire this agency for an appraisal in partition. I was honest it was a partition and he wanted an escort. Had to reschedule due to availability of the escort, after sending him the check. He called me "quirky". Slow response time on his part and found him to be "quirky". Luckily payment stopped on the check and found another appraiser. Hard to pinpoint a time with him. BE CAREFUL. A lot of time trying to get an appraisal out of him.
Bill Falkenberg's appraisal allowed us to reduce our assessment over a three year period. (He is the owner.) He is professional and knowledgeable while also being friendly and providing helpful explanations.
Mr. John Arnold was our appraiser, his incompetence and lack of proper information has caused us not to be able to refinance. He poorly appraised our home as 3 bedroom, when we have 4. He wrote down houses for sale in this area were around $310,000 to $319,00 for sale, another false statement - a house less than 200 feet from us has been for sale for $349,000. It's disturbing that someone so incompetent has the power to decide who refinances their homes. Stay AWAY from A-Appraisals.
