I took my precious little Suzy to the AA and was extremely displeased. If there were negative stars, I would give negative stars. This place is extremeley high priced and does not even do all of the things that you tell them to do, I told this place to do everything that they needed to do to help my baby but they did not. I have heard it so many times that they are just in it for the money, but I have seen it myself. I then tried and speak with the administration and apparentley the person that I needed to talk to was by the... read more

I have read negative reviews for this clinic, but almost every one of them has been about their prices. They are an emergency vet clinic that is open 24/7 so of course their prices are going to be higher. They saved my dogs life after she swallowed a penny and got zinc poisoning. She was there for an entire week, and they treated her like she was their own. They answered my phone calls every time I called (like 5 times a day). They even called me at 3 and 4 in the mornings sometimes with updates. They are exactly what I woul... read more

They saved my cats life! He had a urinary blockage and they figured it out immediately and saved him. He could have died if they had not acted quickly. I appreciate all that they did for him and will never forget it. I have read the other reviews and think that people do not understand how upset they are during an emergency and that the level of care AA gives does cost money.

Published February 2nd, 2008. in Uncategorized Tags: Merchant Circle, Merchantcircle, Merchantcircle.com, Phishing, Scam. In the past week I have received one email from Better Business Bureau claiming a negative report complaint was filed against me. I quickly googled the words [Better Business Bureau Phishing Scam] and was relieved to know this was a Phishing scam. (See this link at SecureWorks.com for a description of this scam) Quite ingenious. It plays on ones fears and upon my initial reading of the email, I was a bit ... read more

When my vet referred me there, I too thought they were the only place I could take my English Mastiff on a sunday for possible bloat. The vet was nice enough...but the staff was horrible! It was a nightmare! When I was surprised at the cost, this guy started getting condensending with me. It turned into an all-out yelling contest on the phone. He actually called me names, at which point I hung up on him. If he would have shut up for a minute, it would not have turned into this yelling match and gotten so ugly. I am trying to... read more

Do not use AA Small Animal Hospital. Not only are they driven to take you for every penny you have, they could care less about your pet. If you love your animal, take the time to research another facility that is open 24 hours. I thought I was forced to use them. I had to put my pet down after a bout with bone cancer. They charged me $190 for cremation and represented that it was an urn - which ended up being a cardboard box!!! Refusing to do anything about it now and telling me that it's always been their policy! I have two... read more

My mom took her great dane to the AA Small Animal Emergency Vet last night. They diagnosed him with the 'bloats', common in great danes but deadly, and insisted on a $6000 payment before they would even begin operating. Note, it was 1am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. As my mom (not unlike any normal person) doesn't have $6000 just lying around, she had to call us, her family, and gather any cash/credit card numbers she could. Of course we obliged, we love this animal. The clinic, however, did not. After coming up with $... read more
