We had dinner here tonight and do not know the last time I had food in a restaurant that tasted that good. And if you think this is just diner fare, oh my dear misguided friend, think again! I had Mediterranean Zucchini Soup and a grilled turkey sandwich with brie and apple butter. It was ah-may-zing!!! It's quaint inside and the staff is super friendly and wicked efficient. It was my first time but I know it won't be my last.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on October 6 th around 11:00 for lunch. I had been wanting to stop by for quite some time, and I was in the area. I have to say I was quite impressed with everything. The atmosphere, customers, the whole over all experience. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was exactly what I was hoping for. I can't wait to come back and bring my teenage son with me. Thank you :-)

Menu is creative and food is great. Will be frequenting this diner! *Update* 1st visit was a 5 star and it was pretty well packed. Today's visit (11/15/15) left a lot to be desired and it wasn't that busy. It probably took us 45 minutes to get our food. When we finally did get our food my mom's omelette was cold and the there was very little egg in this omelette. Not sure if this is typical of your omelettes but 2 eggs in an omelette usually result in it being nice and fluffy- this fell flat. The apple french toast should re... read more

I will check in with the staff and find out what happened and correct the problem so hopefully it won't happen again. I do know the apple component of the French Toast was apple cider and not actual apples so there may have been some confusion there. A1 is a long time favorite! Went in today and was greeted by super friendly staff with a smile. The food came out quickly and was great. I'll definitely stop in again and I highly recommended the a1 diner to those traveling through!
