Low Rent, High Exit Fees: A Moving Irony The only positive aspect I can mention is that it was relatively inexpensive when we first moved in. The manager promised to replace the countertop, and I also politely requested that a very squeaky fan be fixed. Unfortunately, none of these issues were addressed. Upon moving out, they charged us as much as possible, including painting all the walls, even though they were dirty when we moved in. Do Not Live Here – After living here for 5 years, I decided I can not tolerate the phsychotic behavior of Jan the landlord any more. She will ask you questions about your private life, she has made comments about my comings and goings based on whether my car was parked in it's spot overnight. She lets her cats run freely around the entire building, and I'm terribly allergic. Then there are the late night knocks on the door, where she just wants to chat, or accosting you in the public areas to talk about things that are priva... read more
