On May 7th 2020 my fiancé and I we were searching for a camper and came up to 83RV website, at the time they were advertising a Sun lite model 19BH year 2021 travel trailer, we went to their 83RV dealer in Mundelein Illinois and met with Mr. Bob ***** at their lot, Mr. Bob ***** of 83RV demonstrated us the Sun lite model 19BH year 2021 travel trailer that was advertised on their website, Mr. ***** was not wearing a mask per CDC guidelines at the time, I asked MR. ***** to wear a mask and he had one in his pocket and immediat... read more
Total scam when renting an RV. Up sell you on everything by scaring you with possible fees if not in perfect condition with a return. Pre-clean or face crazy fees. Get separate insurance for windshield or else. Also need separate insurance for RV but make note, this does not cover the retractable awning. That is not covered no matter what you purchase and it will cost you an exact $3000 to replace. They are scammers. After I dropped the RV, it took 2 weeks for them to reach out to me and tell me that I have made a damage. When I asked for proof, my request was denied. They never refund my deposit and faked the charges
We rented a 2013 32' Class C Coachman Leprechaun for a 3 day weekend trip. My husband and I being first renters felt a bit overwhelmed, but Mark erased our fears. He allowed us to walk around the unit alone. After our inspection he then took the time to show us how everything operated, and what each switch function performed. Mark showed us the location of hoses and outlets for outside connections. He even gave helpful tips on water conservation and other useful information.
