Never lived at this property but I have lived at another essex "managed" property. Stay away!!! Essex does not have onsite leasing or management. It's all remote, so it's a pain to communicate with them. They hardly ever answer calls or respond to emails. They list units that might not actually be available and try to keep your money if you don't accept one of the other units that they have available. They try to fill their own pockets so they hire the worst vendors to do repairs which in the long run they're probably wastin... read more

I have toured all apartments in Menlo Park, and this management has been the worst. - No management on site. Same problem with Roen Menlo Park since they transferred to Essex. Only phone calls reach to them, and they are not responsive even for self-guided tours. - The management person kept saying there IS a bike room, but they do NOT know where the room is. There is only one picture for a bike repair room, not bike storage room on the website. - The management is VERY RUDE. I simply asked for instructions to view the bike ... read more
