I have lived here since the beginning of 2025. I remember the building going up I’d say about 15 years ago. I was always attracted to the materials, the lines and the design. I remember watching it going up from my job across the street. At that point it wasn’t the right time, but finally after all these years I get to live here. And I love it. I purchased a unit at 77 Hudson approximately 18 months ago and, candidly, regret the decision. There are recurring operational and management issues that fall well below what this building markets itself to be: • HVAC reliability – Frequent outages, including during peak summer months • Water shutdowns – Occur more often than expected for a building of this caliber • Safety concerns – There have been multiple incidents. • In one case, an incident was witnessed by building staff and formally reported, and I was told there wo... read more
