Nice Place, Friendly People – I recently had to move out of my home on short notice, and got a room at 7 Valley Motel. The experience was great, I wound up having to stay a little over a month. Prices are extremely reasonable with weekly and monthly rates too. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The best part was the owners/staff. They were warm and friendly. They don't deserve your business. – We'd stayed there each August for a number of years. But this year we phoned them a number of times, leaving messages, and though they promised to call back, they didn't. When we finally reached them, they demanded that we send them a deposit in the form of a check - which they never had before. When we expressed reluctance to do so, in part because of what we had read in the other review of this motel, they took offense and said they didn't want our business anymore. Not a bad room, but poor accounting practises – The rooms were small, neat and clean. Major problem regarding payment. Sent check a week in advance of stay for full payment. When I arrived, I was told they did not receive my check. Gave owner a replacement check and asked him to destroy the first one. Got home and first check had cleared my bank. Called owner and asked him to return the second check which he promised to do. A week later, the second check was deposited! Called owner and am waiting to see if he sends refund as... read more
