Outside seating on the patio is very open and comfortable. The internet ordering at the table works great, once you get the hang of it.
I was in Traverse City for a Bachelorette party and we tried to go somewhere to get a drink. There were six of us and the waiter/owner told us “we aren’t taking bachelorette parties like you” and we were completely shocked. we then tried to go next door to the Low Bar and the very nice 16 year old doorman/bouncer told us a 15 minute wait. After that, the same waiter/owner from 7 Monks went into Low Bar, and came out and told us that Low Bar was at capacity. I was recently in town for a bachelorette with 9 people. I am fully understandable of regulations of COVID. I called before and they said that we could be sat with a wait but was told we would be split up. No problem at all. We were quoted 30 minutes (not a problem) so half our party was still in travel. We were sat in 10 minutes (greatful for it) but half the party (who was not sitting with us because regulations) was still traveling. The owner who was running the front door was extremely rude. The manager was professional and honest when letting us know he wasnt sure how long the wait was going to be because of how busy they were. For how busy Traverse City was, the honesty was all we could hope for and it was appreciated. When we got in, the food, drinks and service were exceptional per usual. I would not hesitate coming here in the future. 10/10
