After finally working up the courage to ask for a phone number, I was led on and given a fake one instead. I also realize now that as I was driving away, they turned around to laugh at me with two other employees. While I can accept the rejection, I don't deserve to be treated like that. It's done major damage to my self esteem and now I can't go back to my favorite coffee place because I'll likely run into the person and look like I'm actively trying to find them. WAY too expensive. After the first time I went and was extremely disappointed, I decided to give them another chance, but once again, I was totally let down.
