Do not use them for any event especially YOUR WEDDING!!! I was referred to Chuck at 617 wedding by my venue, he no longer had our date available. He suggested one of the other DJ’s they have I’m Portuguese/American and before I booked, I advised Chuck that I needed someone that could play Portuguese/Brazilian and English songs. A mix!! We couldn't possibly recommend DJ Chuck from 617 Weddings any higher. He was extremely familiar with our venue (Smith Barn in Peabody) so the set up was never in question -- we knew everything would be set up without a hitch -- even with a questionable weather forecast with a lot of moving parts, Chuck was on top of it from the start. My daughter's wedding was last Saturday. EVERYONE was on the dance floor. Christian was professional, fun and so accommodating. He read the crowd and threw in slow and fast and Motown and rap and latin and kept the party going. It was so much fun. EVERYONE at the wedding commented on how much fun Christian made the party. Second time we've used 617 and just as great as the 1st time. THANK YOU!
Chris Paul of 617 weddings was hired as the DJ for my niece’s wedding. Our family was appalled that he arrived to the wedding intoxicated. He was loud and very obtrusive throughout the wedding and a few guests heard him making inappropriate jokes. Not only did he make several stops at the bar getting himself drinks during his coverage, he was also very rude to a few of my family members who had a couple of simple requests from him.
