I have lived here for 10yrs. The building mgr and staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is maintained well. Very secure!
This review is specifically regarding their restrictive dog policies. I'm the owner of Gimme Paw Dog Walking, the premier dog walking service in Long Island City. 5SL does NOT allow outside dogs into the building (even though they have a side entrance which would make this relatively easy to accommodate). The bottom line is this - if you are moving to LIC and want to sign your dog up for group dog walking do not move into this building! There are many other suitable alternatives.
