On January 16, 2025, I hired 5th Avenue Building Inspections to conduct a home inspection for a property I subsequently purchased. The company assigned inspector Mariano Hurtado to the job. It took me several months to relocate from another state, and upon moving into the property I discovered multiple discrepancies in the inspection report—most notably, a gross misrepresentation of the structural type of the home.
