Went in yesterday for what I thought were flu like symptoms. Mentioned that to the front desk nurse, and that I’d like to get tested for it and if positive get a tamiflu prescription. They were very dismissive, saw the doctor, again asked for a flu test. Was told that I didn’t need it. I woke up this morning and felt so much worse, went to an urgent care close to my house (I’m on orders) and guess what… tested positive for influenza A, and got my tamiflu prescription. ☆☆☆- Aug 2025 I’ve been coming here for over a year without any issues. Every time, I went straight to the counter for my refill and it was handled quickly. But this time, after driving all the way and spending my gas and time, I was suddenly told I have to “call a number” instead. No warning, no notice—just wasted time. It is sad how bad the service has become on base. The last four or so experiences my wife has had on base is disappointing. The last experience , all she needed was a letter from her physician for a surgery he referred her to. She requested the letter a week in advance and they still wanted her to make an appointment. She made the appointment and then they cancelled. I remember when you could go to the patient advocate for assistance and they would support you. That service is non-existent now. Very disappointing.
