Been living here for about 5 months now, this is definitely the best building we've lived in by far in LA. Majority of all the complexes aren't going to be perfect, you're in an apartment but this one is the best for what you pay for. As in other reviews, the hallways were pretty disgusting, the carpets were saturated in pee which made the halls smell horrible. But they just tore everything out & put brand new carpet in. Avoid this apartment building. After moving in, we noticed they hadn’t done proper maintenance after the previous tenants. I had to make over five requests to get basic issues fixed. But during move-out, they were eager to charge for everything they had failed to address before we moved in. We had to break the lease early and paid all the penalties. I’ve been here for a few months now, and the maintenance team has been really kicking ass and addressing all the small issues really quickly and I’ve been great with the fixes. Two thumbs up!

I stayed here for over 4 years and it was mostly pleasant though the experience degraded over time, homeless people often would sleep in the building stairwell, there’s a lot of pets in the building and pi$$ and p00p randomly around the building seemed to become more evident over time, there were more parties in the building with noise and arguments keeping people up at night. If you’re straight out of college this is probably an okay option for you but park la brea is cheaper and feels cleaner and safer to me
