I am very careful with who does my nails, and so when I go into this place for the first time, I explicitly ask what their process is for taking off shellac. They convince me that they use the soak off method, after carefully removing the top layer with a file. Sounds great, and we do the shellac polish. Three weeks later, I go back to have the shellac polish removed as agreed. This was my first time going to a nail salon since becoming a mom a month ago, and it honestly felt really nice to take a bit of time for myself. Adjusting to life with a newborn, something as simple as getting my nails done ended up being a great little reset and definitely lifted my mood more than I expected. Ken did an amazing job.
