Typically a very awesome place, never have any issues great service and wonderful food. The only thing negative I can say is at the Tega Kay location they have large brisket sandwich special for lunch, and on a few occasions they haven't had it, nor substituted an item for the special. So I've been very dissappointed a few times because the brisket is awesome. Other than that it reminds me of back home in Texas....

I absolutely love 521 BBQ. Everything from the chopped pork to the ribs are amazing and the hush puppies are the best I've ever had. Plus the sauces are top notch and I can't get enough of them. They also have delicious locally brewed stouts and porters on tap. One of my favorite restaurants in the area!
Really good BBQ and the Ribs were awesome to. The baked beans are really good also. The service was good also. It's a must at try if u like or I should say love BBQ.

Love the BBQ but hate the new location! The bar is taking up 1/2 the restaurant so it was a long wait! I hope you expand soon

Best ribs I have EVER had!! I just saw they're moving across the street next to Harris Teeter. Nice call! Place looks bigger, and easier parking!
