BEFORE DECIDING TO RENT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING. Honestly at first we were just happy to be approved for a house to rent in Cedar Park area. Upon move in we did a move in inspection sheet and turned it in. The owner was rude on the phone when we asked if we could tour a property we were really interested in. He wouldn’t allow us to unless we paid $110 in application fees before even seeing the property. He’s got a smart mouth and I definitely wouldn’t want to rent from him. He said and I quote, “ If the photos aren’t good for you, this isn’t the right place for you.” He’s right it’s not the right place for me, or anyone.
After a year lease let me give potential tenants the run down… if I could leave a zero star review I would. My downstairs bathtub had a leak when I moved in. I have video proof of that, long story short, I moved out Jan 31 and it’s still leaking. For a full year I was never able to use that bathroom. I have proof of work orders and text correspondence with 512 Society with pictures in the thread with them saying someone would be out. So about 6 months in someone came out to fix it. These guys have been doing pretty good about keeping this house from falling apart on me, keeping my water running and my home warm when it's cold, and their communication is open and clear. I really needed a place to live and they helped get this roof over my head quickly since I provided everything they requested in a timely manner and I am eternally grateful. I trust this management company with my home. They send trustworthy companies and contractors too.
Horrible customer service, require you to send in all documentation within 3 days or they throw out your application and keep the fees. They charge many fees upon move in and you have to move in within 10 days of sending in an application. So if you have to give a 30 day notice like me, this company is NOT for you. I highly reccomend staying away and reading the reviews especially the bad ones. I will not be working with this unethical company.
