The moment we stepped inside, we knew this was the place to be for our party. A memorable first impression, welcoming staff who are genuinely happy to see you, and a wonderful atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. Great vibes, inviting ambiance, and excellent food make this place stand out. Ultimately, a top-notch experience all around, with friendly, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. A true winner!
This restaurant is trying too hard to be upscale, and it's NOT. Menu is limited at dinner. Vermont Cheddar soup tasted like broth without cheese, steaks were overcooked, but the worse thing was the "fancy" lobster salad- slivers of lobster and hard bites of pineapple on wilted bib lettuce that cost $52.00!!!! Really sad!
As I have said in other reviews I rarely give 5 stars and I thought about it for this place but nothing is really perfect.This is pretty close. Best bloody Mary I've ever had made with pride and personal recipe of the owner Patrick. Directly on Rocky Neck with a deck overlooking Smith Cove, you can pull up by boat or car. No boat? Take the water shuttle from 2 ports in town. Get the lobster Roll. In the fall try a potpie in this cozy atmosphere.
