RecommendedI have studied a few different styles and enjoyed them all but this class is so great because they have more than just one instructor. When I started I was the only white belt. I had someone to help me and they made class fun. They break the class down into manageable groups and each group gets a instructor, sometimes they rotate instructors each day sometimes several times that day. Everyone learns differently and everyone teaches differently.
Mr and Mrs Poole are so good with each child and understands. exactly what each student needs. We are grandparents of one of the students and they have always made us feel welcome as well. They encourage everyone to do their best.and show them how to have discipline in their lives as well as accomplishing their goals in class.
The instructors go above and beyond for each and every student. You feel as you are apart of an amazing family who support you and help you to be the best you can be. I couldn’t say enough great things about Mr. and Mrs. Poole, and their son who is an instructor Mr. Colin Poole. They are great with little kids and as equally great with us big kids! 10 thumbs up and a 100 stars for an AMAZING business!
Great group of instructors! We've enjoyed seeing the progress our daughter has made in just a short time with them.

I highly recommend Lancaster ATA. My boys are 4 and 6 and they absolutely love attending Lancaster ATA. Not only does it teach them self defense techniques it teaches them about respect, listening self control and confidence. Mr. Poole is a great instructor and makes the class fun while keeping the kids in line and listening at all times. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The lead instructor is unprofessional to the younger students, he places his favorite students above other students. He placed tape on my daughters month to tell her that she needed to stop talking during class, which is completely inappropriate to do to a four year old girl and what gives him the right to touch the students in anyway. My son is enjoying the fast paced classes. The staff are knowledgeable and very entertaining.
Mr.Poole has the patients of saint when dealing with with tigers. He is able to wrangle 30 wild kids into a uniform class and teach them to become great adults one day.
