Ben was super thorough and did a really nice job for my fiancee and me. He gave us a great report to work through, which we found very helpful as first time home buyers. If you’re looking to buy an older home and want to feel good before closing, I would highly recommend Ben.
Ben was the most professional and knowledgeable inspector I have ever worked with. His report on a home my wife and I were under contract for was incredibly thorough and unbiased. He provided a comprehensive report about the conditions (both positive and negative) of everything he could inspect, which proved to be extremely valuable in our decision-making during the purchase process. *Highly* recommended!
Ben falsely identified mold in the crawl space under tue vapor barrier. What he claimed to be mold was efflorescence (ie mineral build up). His basis for claiming mold was based solely on a visual inspection, and he failed to follow up with any objective testing. The buyers agent told us this was the sole basis of termination because the buyers daughter has severe asthma. I immediately had a testing contractor and remediation contractor take samples for testing, as well as conduct moisture detection and thermal testing. All ... read more
Ben did a great job on the home inspection and was very honest. He had the clients best interests in mind and had great communication with me about pertinent items. I would not hesitate to recommend to him to anyone looking to hire inspections services on a home. I would not listen to the negative comments as there is not way for an inspector catch everything. Ben did a great job for us to catch any major problems.
I just used 5 Star for a new home purchase inspection and couldn’t be happier. Taylor did a wonderful job finding issues the builder had missed and Michael was a pleasure to work with. They're a magnificent team. Thank you gentlemen!
