Being from LA our expectations for Mexican food were low. We frequented another establishment down the block that we thought was as close as possible from the real stuff but let me tell you 5 BURRO PUTS THEM TO SHAME. Be prepared to wait the place is tiny and always packed. Order a frozen margarita and chill while you wait. We got lucky, we found 2 seats at the bar right upon arriving. I love this place. The food is always on point. The service is great, the drinks are delish, not expensive, music, decor everything ties in so well together.
Awesome margaritas and food! I like all the bar tenders except for one, the big guy. He is rude and he always rush us every time we're by the bar. I noticed he loves to talk with his personal customers so doesn't care the rest of us by the bar that's why he rushed us all the time. We love Alex. He remembers what we want. If you're regular the bar tender usually remembers. But the Big guy even thou we are kind of regular but he can't remember what we want. Why? Go figure!
Nothing is better than this place!!! Amazing food and good margaritas.
I know this place for loooong time and absolutely love it. Never had a bad experience in regards to service or food.... I'm really surprised to read lots of bad reviews of "5 Burros Café". It is a small and cozy place that is always packed for a GOOD reason ... it's awesome food and drinks served here.
I'm sorry to say but the truth is that this terrible, the food, the service fatal everything is not like years ago back that was good
