Really like this place. Have a soft spot for it, because I stayed here in 2012 when on the job interview visit (it was Ramada then). Have stayed again since then, last time in October. The room was large and neat, the service was lowkey and great. The place is pet-friendly, with ample parking. Most importantly, it's really walking distance to downtown, so I can go catch a meal, but it's also on the water path so perfect for walking the dog. Booked the deluxe suite for a weekend shopping trip. The room had some issues and it is apparent that general maintenance is lacking at this hotel. The heater was broke and it was obvious that someone was working on it because they left the service panel open. The hot tub was the same way. Service panel open and wires exposed. Not going to use that. It is advisable that you bring your own toiletries as well because there was only conditioner and lotion in the bathroom to begin with. Have y’all ever seen a 6 story by the hour slum motel? Well feast your eyes on 41 Lafefront hotel, featured with broken elevators, cracked windows and floor tiles, absolutely horrendous service, from the front desk to the manager, everyone was rude, everyone was miserable, except for the houseman doing the trash and floors, he was nice. The room had mold growing all over the bathroom, the floors were sticky. My room had stains on the bed, the pillows that are in those cases are beyond foul
