The P.A's actions were acceptable but his info not so much. Their policy is not to prescribe any opiates except for after surgery or an end of life situation. If I had known this, I wouldnt have wasted my time getting an appointment here. The only thiing he would do is increase my dose of gabapentin which is a mild pain and nerve treatment med.
Staff at Optum / The Everett Clinic consistently cannot write prescriptions correctly, send refill requests to the wrong place where no one will see them and nothing will get done. I have missed doses of my inflammatory bowel disease medication multiple times because of their mistakes. It's not even a controlled substance. At this point the service is so bad that I'm going to have to look for another clinic; if my insurance doesn't end up covering any others, I'll legitimately have to consider paying out of pocket for differ... read more
