Great ambience. Great service. The house made pasta is awesome too. The appetizers are unbelievable. One distinction I've made is that the sauces in general are very strongly flavored and slightly salty, which I think is deliberate to please the average American palate. Having had spaghetti carbonara both at 40 Paper and at Primo, I'd describe 40 Paper's as very tasty and rich while Primo's is delicate and complex. 40 Paper has the ultimate happy hour (4-6 PM) - incredible food, amazing drinks and an awesome atmosphere!!
It's our regular place in Camden and we always had good food and service, but we were not quite sure what was going on with the sausage papardelle this past Memorial Day. The apps and my dish were great as usual but the aforementioned papardelle tasted like pasta with a bunch of cheap BBQ sauce dumped over it. It was bizarre, to say the least. Perhaps an off day?
The bartender, Wynn? Was fascinating and full of history facts and tibits about the liquors being served. It was an enjoyable time!
Delicious half pizzas, brussel sprouts, and cocktails at happy hour! I had the calamari salami half pizza and it was phenomenal! Great staff and relaxed atmosphere �
