40 Paper is easily one of the best restaurants in Camden, the mid coast, and Maine. I’ve visited a few times for dinner, and the food, beverages, and service is flawless, every single time. Clearly, the team understands the most important rule of the restaurant game; consistency. If you stop in, try the pork belly + parsnip purée and one of their signature cocktails. Well done to Josh and the team, you’re now my favorite spot in town.
For someone that must eat gluten-free, it is refreshing to eat at an establishment that takes it seriously. The food is phenomenal! The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about the entrees! The owner is extremely kind and also, very welcoming. Five stars!
Tonight’s dining experience puts our meal at Primo last night to absolute shame! From the craft cocktails upon arrival, to apps, and then the main course - oh the main course! - was stupendous. The flavors, the depth, the quality of presentation create the perfect dining experience one craves in decadent dining. Ben offered drinks of only a seasoned mixologist and discerning wine selections. Carrie presented the meal with patience and attention, nailing the descriptions of each entree and making each sound irresistible.
Modern casual bistro. Great food with Italian modern twist. Good service very comfortable atmosphere.

My husband and I came in a few months back just for cocktails, highly recommend by the way, and wanted to come back to try the food. Two weekends ago we came back to the area to stay the night. We came in and was greeted in moments. We would be seated in about 10 minutes so we grabbed a drink at the bar. Great drinks and made well!!
