After eating a breakfast sandwich and some home fries from there. I have to go back but soon
Breakfast food good but 2/3 of the servers suck , service is not quick, and lots of the patrons in various stages of high or hungover. I am too square for this place
I didn't want to listen to the negative reviews and wanted to try a new spot for myself. BIG mistake. Seeing the drunken patrons when we first walked in should have given it away. Food is not their focal point. Our pancakes were undercooked and the bacon tasted like they had been cooked the previous day and reheated when we ordered. This "diner" is basically a place for drunk people to hang out until they start to serve alcohol again.
One of Richmond's best for years...been going for over 25+ years and have consistently received great food and great service! Can't forget the great drinks, especially the Bloody Marys! We always recommend the 3rd Street Diner to family and friends, and they've never been disappointed. It's definitely the place to go whenever in Richmond.

How do I change the volume on the jukebox last time i turned it up by accident and someone yelled at me to turn it down but I chose "kiss me kiss me kiss me" by the cure and some cops walked in during the first couple minutes of the song (the part where it's instrumental and there's a wah wah pedal and it synced up perfectly cuz it looked like the climax of an Episode of Miami vice) but you guys should put instructions on the jukebox so I don't look like a dick next time.
Horrible staff and service. Especially late night!
