Lived here 9 months in a 2 bedroom apartment with roommates. Building was very clean and staff were always helpful. No issues with pests or rodents or maintenance. Very convenient for public transit users. Area 1-2 streets over was sometimes sketchy. Moved out to find a quieter part of the city. Even 10+ floors up there was quite a bit of noise from city traffic, ambulance sirens from nearby hospitals, and construction sounds from across the street.

You can imagine my surprise when walking into the lobby and everything is laid out. A light refreshments and charcuterie banquet label for me. I was welcomed warmly by the community manager, Simone. She offered pastries, water, soda, wine, and asked me how I was doing. Ms. Cheryl at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. Greeted me with a Smile and offered me refreshments. This building used to be great when the previous manager was (Steve) he was responsive, anytime of the day and always made sure to help one way or another. The new manager they hired (Douglas), very hard to reach, never replies! 3 weeks ago they said they needed to do a maintenance on the air conditioner. That would take two weeks, two weeks passed, I asked for an update. He never replies but a day later sends a mass email to the entire building saying it’s taking longer, no expectations no estimates, since then I’ve emailed... read more

We stayed at 39 w lex for 1.5 years and we had a good time staying here. Had some cooliing issues last year but the management took care of it. Never felt unsafe as the apartment had security.
