I recently had surgery on February 26, 2026, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and also received care at the Johns Hopkins BMO Building, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding level of customer service and care I experienced. From the very beginning, Sherry at the registration front desk was a joy while gathering my information — warm, welcoming, and professional. ​I will not be bringing my aunt back to the 301 building (3rd floor lab). The intake process was rude, but the physical treatment was worse. My aunt complained that the front desk person/phlebotomist was rough, and by the time we got home, she was bleeding through her bandage and had a swollen vein. ​The staff's attitude was the "cherry on top"—spraying disinfectant and slamming the door while we were still in the lobby.
