About this business

In the hip and green Dilworth area, 300 East stands out amongst the other eateries. Serving up eclectic and traditional American cuisine, it is a neighborhood favorite. Try out the Mongolian Lamb Chops, Thai Pork Tenderloin, and Penne with Duck for lunch or dinner, followed by a mouth-watering dessert. If you're thoroughly satisfied with the food, be sure to return for the scrumptious brunch! Have a martini or two with friends on the patio and enjoy a view of the street and passers-by. I’d go 4.5 if I could. Rarely ever do I give out 5’s however 300 East was almost perfect yesterday. Justin was fabulous. The spicy pimento starter was phenomial. I thoroughly enjoyed my shrimp blt. So scrumptious. Mary raves about her chicken salad plate. Her plate when served looked like a work of art. Not my first time but my first in a long time, hopefully I’ll not stay away so long next time. Kudos for sure.

Great place for a great meal, cozy atmosphere, and excellent GF ice cream sandwich for dessert!

Had Brunch here this past Sunday (7/22) and we were all thrilled. Bloody Mary's were great and I will say the scrambled eggs were the best I have ever eaten in my life. Grits were also fabulous. Would love to know what you put in those eggs.

I hadn’t been here in several years but I’m glad I went this time. Best French onion soup ever. My crab cake was wonderful and the service was great. There’s a reason this restaurant has been in business over 30 years.

First experience at 300 East would’ve been pretty bad if it weren’t for the company I had with me and the romantic atmosphere. Firstly, our silverware had not been washed. Secondly, there was a bug in our water that the hostess actually spotted from across the table and quickly snatched up before we could even see it (mind you we had already been drinking out of it) and the water she brought back tasted awful. Thirdly, my lamb dish was very cold and I might as well have ordered a can of diced tomatoes. However, the staff was... read more

John took me here last night as this was the restaurant we met at 3 years ago!! I was two hours late as I had an almost classic car named Ricky, and got wrapped up in the runner traffic but he waited for me. I had the Rose Milk Cake. It was the prettiest most fancy desert I’ve ever had that tasted amazing !
