Our disposal suddenly stopped working while I was cleaning up after lunch. The plumber found something lodged inside, removed it, and checked that the unit would run and drain normally. There was no damage that required a replacement. I had been ready for an expensive appliance discussion, so a straightforward service visit was a welcome outcome.

We had a loud bang in the wall whenever the washing machine stopped filling. Nothing was leaking, but the sound was enough to make us jump. The plumber checked the supply plumbing and installed an arrestor to address the hammering. Laundry is noticeably quieter now. I also appreciated that he ran the machine long enough to reproduce the noise before deciding on the repair.

The kitchen drain was better after the first visit but slowed down again a few days later. I wasn't thrilled about having to call back. To their credit, 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC listened to what was happening and scheduled another look. The plumber cleared additional buildup farther along the line. We've since used the sink through several loads of dishes without the water sitting there again.

A toilet in our small shop wouldn't flush properly, and we couldn't keep asking customers to use the restroom next door. The plumber worked on it while we stayed open, keeping the tools inside the restroom rather than spread across the hallway. A lodged object was removed, and the toilet was tested several times. The whole visit was less disruptive than I'd expected.

The first appointment didn't finish the job because our older bathtub needed a part the plumber didn't have. That was inconvenient, especially since this is our only full bathroom. However, the office followed up with a return appointment instead of leaving us to keep calling. The correct part was fitted on the second visit, and the handle now works properly. The follow-through mattered more to me than pretending everything would be a one-visit fix.
