Staff is really nice and helpful. A lot of machines are broken. Treadmills are all new but half the bikes and over half the elliptical have been broken since I started here 3 months ago.
I need to pay attention to their machines a little more. Elliptical and cross trainer machines handles are falling off and look very nasty. Thinking of looking for a different 24 Hour Fitness to go to.
Had a great experience at this facility even though it was my first visit!!!
24 Hour Fitness Capital Mall has reduced the number of crappy TVs in service by turning off three of the five crappy TVs altogether, thereby dropping the percentage of crappy TVs to working TVs from 42% to 33%. (Not counting the 3 TVs that only show 24 Hour Fitness videos). Well played, 24 Hour Fitness, well played.
Many of the elliptical machines are broken in some way; no resistance or cross ramp is broken. Just recently finally fixed all treadmills and some stairs equipment. The row machine chain sticks, backbend station along with a few others are NOT bolted down. I'm appalled at the lack of concern and timeliness to fix things. We have been stuck in our year contract for 6 months and once it's up we are leaving. I wouldn't recommend this gym, maybe 5 years ago but not now.
I want to be here all the time, never have to wait for a machine or weight, yet there's plenty to look at... Come here. You'll see.
The employees are always very nice and insightful about which workouts will help you achieve your goals. I never have a problem finding a machine to use, since there are so many there.
