on Friday night on Valentine's Day weekend we drove down from Healy to eat. I called a week ago to make reservations for a group of five. I was told you did not need a reservation unless it was for 8 or more people. So we arrived and they had 2 tables available. But only had room for 4 people because they had a tabled saved for someone who called and said they were on their way. We were offered a table but 5 people at a 4 person table is a little much. I had 3 friends who have never eaten there and will not be back.

Let me first start off by saying how sorry I am. We had a large table that we thought was initially going to be 8 to 10 people and they grew to 18 people on Wednesday evening. things just snow balled from there. I understand how frustrating is is to make the effort to get all the way here and not have it meet your expectations. We are working on trying to figure out the kinks and welcome any suggestions. By far the best meal we had on our trip to AK this summer. Beautiful building, easy to get to location. And wonderful food !
This is culinary oasis in the middle of Alaska. Gourmet meals, wonderful wine list and an exceptional chef. We travel to Denali each year just to go to 229 Parks. A must!
Best meal yet since we left Mississippi. Loved the ice cream sandwich and my garden salad was one of the best salads I've ever had. Thank you.
