First time being there good place for music to meet friends and family
No hate on the venue, but for being situated within a (near purely) residential neighborhood, it’d be cool if you worked on your sound insulation so I don’t have to hear you despite living three blocks away. Tech21 lives right across the street and somehow manages to not be heard more than a few houses down most of the time.
Great little venue for upcoming and established bands. Paul, who runs it, is a gift to the local (or not so local) musicians. I’ve talked to a ton of bands he’s recorded in the studio there to get records out, as well putting on shows almost every weekend. Nice gem of Pittsburgh helping keep the punk rock scene alive!
Only been once years ago but it was a true DIY venue and self-managed. I will hand it to the people: a true autonomous space when I was there back in the day.
