My daughter has been telling me all about this zoo in chicago,so while I was visiting for a few days,she said lets go to the zoo,so we jumped on the train and away we went,it was my first time , had a blast, clean,friendly,and just amazing,cant wait to come back.
In love with this zoo. If I didn't have work yesterday I would've stayed longer
I can only give the zoo a 4 star rating because I'm semi opposed to the whole concept of zoos. That said it really is a nice zoo. The monkeys seemed to be having fun swinging all over the place. My daughter and I did notice that many of the enclosures which had obvious water areas didn't actually have any water and it was a pretty hot day. I understand that it is a free zoo - perhaps voluntary donations at the entrance would encourage folks to give and allow for better care?
Zoos are one of those thing I have mixed feelings on, but this one is free, seems well run, and has lovely grounds and educational exhibits, with a focus on conservation.
Great place for families.....������������������
What is there to say, but one of the best attractions that is still FREE (if you don't include parking)!!

20 members of my family all attended the Food Truck Social..every person had a blast. Food was fantastic, animals we gorgeous and well taken care of! Just wish we can catch the baby sloth in action, always snoozing :)
